Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts, born on October 28, 1967, on the 28th of October, 1967 in Atlanta to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer was the first Roberts to arrive in Atlanta. The father of her mother took his first steps towards theatre. He was an actor on at the Emory University campus in 1952 and also in other productions throughout Atlanta. In 1953, he joined the Air Force. While stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi acted in a production with Betty Lou Bredemus. The couple married in 1955. Their first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter and wife resigned from for the Army in 1957, and they both enrolled Walter as a student at Tulane University. The family relocated in 1960 into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working at Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local kids' Saturday morning television show Bum Bum and His Buddies the show they had funded. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou founded their own organization called the Actors and Writers Workshop. The organization lasted for a total of 6 years. They welcomed in 1965 two more children into their lives: Lelisa Billingsley as well as Julia Billingsley.
